Meet Anna

Anna has spent most of her life as part of Back2Back ministry—an organization that’s working to end the orphan crisis around the world. She’s part of the Hope Education Program in Monterrey, Mexico, and she’s ringing the celebration bell to mark her college graduation.

When Anna first arrived at Back2Back’s children’s home, she was educationally delayed and struggled with fear and anxiety. She didn’t think she would finish middle school, let alone graduate from a university. In the Hope Education Program, a support team of houseparents, tutors, and therapists rallied around Anna, helping her unlock her potential and surpass her expectations.

“The help I’ve received over the years from Back2Back has impacted me for the better,” shared Anna. “Trusted psychologists have guided me toward making sense of my history. I see myself as a child of God who was created with a purpose.”

If you’ve been to Monterrey already, you’ve seen the difference they’re making in the lives of students just like Anna. And, it doesn’t stop there. Many of those students, in turn, go back to their communities and invest in children facing the same obstacles they overcame.
