Michael & Rebekah Banks

Michael and Rebekah Banks are devoted global workers with WorldVenture, currently serving at the International Graduate School of Leadership (IGSL) in Metro Manila, Philippines. Their mission is to equip and train pastors and Christian leaders from across Asia—especially from unreached areas within the 10/40 Window—empowering them to plant churches, start ministries, and disciple others in regions with little to no gospel presence.

Michael, shaped by deep discipleship through Cru and hands-on ministry in South Asia, brings a passionate integration of theological training and practical ministry. He is committed to developing leaders who don’t just understand Scripture, but live it out in culturally effective ways.

Rebekah, gifted in creativity and women’s discipleship, has been nurtured through a strong faith foundation since childhood. Her mission calling deepened during work with international students and nonprofits, and now she invests in training and mentoring female Christian practitioners at IGSL.

Together, they focus on holistic leadership development—blending biblical teaching with a servant’s heart. Supported by their home church,  they are currently navigating the challenges of transitioning internationally, seeking spiritual protection and cultural adaptability in their calling.

As Michael and Rebekah continue their journey of faith and obedience, they remain committed to investing deeply in the lives of future ministry leaders across Asia. Their heart is to see the gospel flourish in hard-to-reach places through leaders who are well-equipped, spiritually grounded, and culturally prepared. They are grateful for the faithful support and prayers of their partners, and they look forward with hope and anticipation to all that God will do through their ministry in the years ahead.
